![]() What I'm saying is, would be nice to just have a switch to treat missing frames as a transparent image without affecting other layers/images that are not missing in that specific frame To fill in the gaps for those missing frames is time consuming. ![]() So in essense we have 30 exr sequences all with the same missing frames. To create blank exr frames for the missing bits is doable, but a major pain and time consuming since the CG bits have a beauty pass, but also around 30 other render elements and masks. In Resolve we load the entire orignal drone clip and add the EXR sequence in Fusion on top of the drone clip. So then we render out an EXR CG "sequence", but as explained above the sequence is broken as only some bits are needed. So for 1000 frames we only need every 50th frame for example, then the next 352 frames we need every frame then again the next 1000 frames every 100th frame etc etc. To not render out ALL the frames from our DCC, we're only rendering out the bits we need Well we have a long continuous drone footage clip which we tracked and cam matched, so we can add CG elements to it.įor some parts of the footage, a time warp was applied (we're keeping only every 50th frame for some bits and for other bits every 100th frame) (This part is being done in Premiere by another artist)
